ACTIVISM

As a member of the LGBT+ community, I do my best to involve myself in events and speak about my experiences to help empower others like me.

PROUD TO BE LGBT+

I know me being non-binary isn't my whole identity, but coming to terms with who I am has really affected how I live my life. It affects how I dress, how I act, how I do my art, and I think the effect as a whole is positive. It's boosted my confidence and changes how I view interactions. And the most important effect it's had is finding community. Being able to find people like me, and being able to be visible to those who are like me but can't show it yet, makes me hopeful for the future.

[TRANS SPEAKS] EPISODE 6: NONBINARY SPECIAL

In this episode of Trans Speaks, I appear as the second guest at 1:17:26. This podcast was hosted by Yas and Zoe from Bahagsari UP Manila. I talk about my experiences being non-binary with fellow non-binary people in a fun environment.

BEYOND THE GENDER BINARY: THE LIVED EXPERIENCES OF NON-BINARY INDIVIDUALS IN THE PHILIPPINES

For the first day of Trans Awareness Week, I speak with my fellow trans people about living as a non-binary person in the Philippines.

TRANS PARENT DAY

In this video my mom talks about her experience raising a transgender child and I speak alongside her about my experience with having her as a a supportive mother.

PRIDE AT WORK

Pride at Work was a 5-day series of talks about being LGBT+ in the workplace and school. We handled issues like different policies/guidelines regarding SOGIESC, finding work or starting a business as an LGBT+ person, and how to be more inclusive as an employer. I was not a guest speaker but I was the host for Day 3 - Pride at Work: LGBTI+ Inclusive Policies and the second half of Day 4 - Pride at Work: Industry Talks Part 2.
